  2. TOOLBOOK BOOKLETS COLLECTION #2

  5. Booklets Collection #2 is a set of holiday greeting
  6. cards and a simple game, all created with ToolBook.
  7. These applications are useful and entertaining as-is,
  8. and are great starting points for building your own
  9. applications. To use these applications, you need 
  10. Windows 3.0 and ToolBook or Runtime ToolBook.
  11.  
  12. To run the applications:
  13.  
  14. 1. Change to the directory in which you want to copy
  15. the applications. For example, type CD C:\BOOKS at 
  16. the DOS prompt and press Enter.
  17.  
  18. 2. Type A:BOOKLT02 at the DOS prompt and press Enter.
  19. BOOKLT01 is a self-extracting library that
  20. automatically uncompresses the applications and
  21. copies them to your current directory. A message
  22. appears on your screen indicating the applications 
  23. are being uncompressed. When the process is complete, 
  24. the DOS prompt reappears.

  26. 3. Start ToolBook and open the application you want
  27. to use. For example, type 
  28. WIN TOOLBOOK C:\BOOKS\TAQUIN.TBK
  29. at the DOS prompt and press Enter. If ToolBook 
  30. doesn't start, check that it's in your PATH 
  31. statement.

  37. The following ToolBook books are all holiday greeting 
  38. cards created from Asymetrix. Almost all of them have 
  39. animation, and some play music as well (by making
  40. calls to the Microsoft sound driver). Simply open and 
  41. enjoy!

  58. version of Mahjongg was created by Mike Taylor and 
  59. was inspired by the DOS-based version by Nels 
  60. Anderson. The game includes instructions. Simply open
  61. MAHJONGG.TBK to begin.
